“Karen Armstrong and Pope Francis on Compassion: Theological Perspectives and Practical Strategies", Tuesday, February 10, 2015, 7pm, Ingman Room, Student Union, Jewish-Christian-Muslim Dialogue led by Fr. James Bacik with reflections by Dr. S. Amjad Hussain and Rabbi Evan Rubin. Free dessert.
Holi ToledoWednesday, April 8, 2015, 3-5pm. Memorial Field House field
Celebrate the Indian holiday of Holi while learning about other religions and cultures on campus. Colors, music & prizes.
Screening of “Arranged”
Thursday, April 16, 2015, 5:30-7:30, Student Recreation Center, Oak Room
See an independent film about a friendship between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Muslim woman both going through the process of arranged marriages. Talk-back after with community & student leaders. Free snacks. Co-hosted by the Eberly Center for Women and the Center for Religious Understanding.
